Late X-Mas gifts.

The tail light looked better on ebay than real life. O’well still pretty sick. Also got my new steering bearings from Z1. Still in the mail, my tires and signals. Still need a small speedo and maybe tach, And some other not really important things. If you think of anything let me know…..Oh i will need a new clutch able, mine is fraying a lil.

Chopped that tail section.

Not perfect, not pretty, but i did it. Will have a welder weld on some tabs. I will also be cutting off the left side passanger peg mount.

All i did recently, was going to work on th ebike today but felt sick. hoping weather is good this week so i can cut the frames tail.

Ordered new tires and tubes, baffle, and tapered steering bearings. That stuff should be here later in the week.

Heart Removal Surgery.

I been sick and lazy so i havent really worked on the bike. Today i was happy to get my hands dirty again. My friend came over and he helped me with the engine removal.

To be honest it really wasnt that bad, at one point i had to lift the engine off the frame and hover a bit so he can place the milk crate under it. This engine removal was loads easier than when i helped take out his single cylinder 650 engine.

Slow Progress…..Who we kidding

I have been sick so havent done much to the bike, Today all i did was put on the 07 Suzuki savage shocks for mock-up see what they would look like, i love the look it dropped the rear about  3 inches give or take. they are set up at the softest setting just to see if it would bottom out if i jumped on it.

They seem like they will just clear the chain and rear brake assembly. The top fits perfect but the bottom bushing is too big so ill need to get or make a bushing that fits the bolt so it doesnt have play.

Hoping to feel better soon so i can get this damn motor out and  start prep the frame and wheels for paint.
